About some Ins and Outs
Most thanks go to my wife Anja. Without her agreement this hobby would not have been in this proportion. Honestly, who wants a partner that just builds piles of wood and dust in the house. But she supported me all the way. And we are a darn good team.
Hopefully we'll still do a lot of hiking in Scotland. We did the Coast to Coast walk, The Rob Roy Way, The Arran Walk and the Cateran Trail before. Our next goal is the Great Glen Way.

My guitars are made in leisure time, next to my daytime job. That is why my builds take time. A steelstring acoustic guitar is made in 9 months. But it is made with craftmanship, patience  and love. Needless to say that all my guitars are made of solid woods. So no laminate materials. Except in case of a special request, I only use wood and no plastics for bindings, grafts etc.

Make some noise!
Also thanks have to go to my friends. Without them I would have had not that much fun. They all are crazy about guitars, so they are an easy target. But hey guys, thanks to you I'm not stuck with all the stuff.

In 2006 Anja, on her own, walked the pilgrimsway from Leon to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. An exciting walk that needed a lot of effort and power of will.
